| 1986 GMC all wheel drive. This vehicle carried 2 sets of Hurst “Jaws of life” extrication tools complete with three rams, Vetter high pressure air bag lifting system, 5000 watt generator and scene lighting equipment, ice auger, PPV fan and other small tools. The unit was built by Ranger located in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Rescue 1 was assigned to Station 1 located in the center of town and was retired in September of 2006. | |
