MVA Entrapment – Pond Street - April 6, 2016

Fire Company’s 1 and 2 were dispatched to an MVA with person trapped in the vehicle off of Pond Street. Cars 1 and 3, Rescue 1, Engine’s 1 and 2 and Breaker 29 responded on the call.  Firefighters worked with Carver EMS using the Jaws of Life to remove the vehicles roof, windshield and doors to free the trapped passenger.  This was the fifth MVA Entrapment of the week, with three being fatal. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all people involved and their family’s! (Photo’s by Retried Chief Bill Harriman and Deputy Eric Germaine)
