Structure Fire – McFarlin Road - February 25, 2012

Firefighters from Station 1, 2 and 3 under the Command of Captain Matt Sears made quick work of a reported structure Fire in the McFarlin Road area on Saturday evening. A very aggressive interior fire attack kept the fire to a single bedroom, with little damage to the rest of the residence. Crews were on scene within 5 minutes utilizing Engine 1, Engine 2, Tanker 1 and Rescue 1, while Engine 3 and 4 and Breakers 27, 28, and 29 were staged for manpower and to cover the town. Firefighters remained on scene for about two hours helping the homeowner gather belongings and check for any hot spots. (Photo’s by 202 Retired, Alan Dunham)
