A 36" LCD GPS Apparatus Tracking screen tracks all 16 pieces of Carver Fire Apparatus, 200+ Water Supplies, Med-Flight Landing Zones and our Hovercraft and Rescue Boat launch points. The screen allows a dispatcher to enter the emergency Incident address and quickly zoom into the area seeing which water supplies, landing zones, etc., are closest and have the best access.

TELEX IP Based Touch Screen Dispatch Console. This new console was custom designed by Charlie Friss from CFM Communications with some input by Chief Weston. The console monitors Carver Fire Primary and Back-up, EMS, Police, DPW, Plymouth County Control and our 6 Plymouth Count Mutual Aid Frequencies. Fire dispatchers have the capability to tone Fire and EMS Incidents, open apparatus doors, monitor our radio voting system and record and replay emergency Incident audio. A lot of thought went into the design of the console, trying to make it very easy for a Fire Dispatcher to operate during stressful situations.

We utilize a CDM 1550 backup radio was third backup radio. This unit has its own separate power supply, external antenna, and has toning capabilities for both Fire and EMS.

We utilize a Motorola Command Star Console as our 2nd radio back-up system. This console went in service in 2002, as our primary dispatch console and was recently moved over to 2nd back-up when our new TELEX console went online.
