Fire Officers Swearing in and Retirement Ceremony – Carver Town Hall - January 24, 2012

What a great night! Three new Carver Fire Officers, Lieutenant Bill Froehlich, Lieutenant Frank Nye and Assistant Divemaster Tom Fitzgerald, were officially appointed by Fire Chief Craig Weston and sworn in by Town Clerk Jean McGillicuddy. The Carver Fire Department Honor Guard lead the ceremony as Officers and Firefighters lined the room in support of our newest Fire Officers. This was also an opportunity to offer a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to four retiring Firefighters (Lieutenant Alan Dunham with 18 years of service, Firefighter and past Captain Jon Fortier with 26 years of service, Firefighter Joeseph Peck with 40 years of service and Firefighter and past Lieutenant Gary Weston with 47 years of service). Each Firefighter was given citations from the Board of Selectmen in appreciation for their service and capped off with a salute by their Fire Department. (Photo’s by Firefighter Steve Falconer)
