Structure Fire Drill – Co. 1 - April 14, 2001

Carver Firefighters participate in realistic structure fire training at the Caver Fire Department Training Facility. The drill involved trapped victims, simulated smoke, laddering buildings, laying supply lines, power venting and following the Incident Command Communications Structure.

Family Fun Day - January 1, 2001

The Carver Fire Department participated in the Family Fun Day at the Governor John Carver School this year by using the State Safety House. We used the house to teach children and their parents how to spot hazards in their homes, how to plan escape routes and meeting places, and how to get out of the house if there is a fire by using simulated smoke. We also demonstrated how the thermal imaging camera worked in the dense smoke.
