Company 1 firefighters battle a van fire on Beaver Dam Road. Although the fire was extinguished quickly, it had melted overhead telephone and cable wires.
Company's 1 and 2 responded to an MVA with fire and entrapment on Plymouth Street. A Carver Firefighter, Jerry Vaughn and off-duty Carver Policeman, David Harriman removed the victim. Engine 2 crews quickly extinguished the fire and the victim was transported to the hospital.

National Night Out - Firefighters team up with the Carver PD to put on a show of equipment for the young adults of Carver. Engine 1, Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 were on hand and provided lighting for the event. A number of outside agency's were on hand to compliment the Carver resources. Company's 1, 2 and 3 responded to a reported structure fire on Walker Road in north Carver. Upon arrival firefighters encountered heavy fire, a venting propane tank and wires down. Fire was contained to the structure with no injuries reported.
