The new Rescue got it’s final factory inspection by Chief Weston and 2 committee members on July 24 & 25th. The consensus was the truck looked great! Hackney has some minor modifications to make as a result of the inspection and also some more equipment to mount that they are waiting for delivery on. The unit is scheduled for delivery in late August. It will then be lettered by Greg Heger, who has lettered all of our other apparatus. Then the radio man does his thing, the committee does some equipment mounting, and members will then be trained in operating the unit. Hopefully the truck will begin serving the people of Carver by early September. (Photo’s by Lieutenant Eric Weston and Chief Craig Weston)
