Firefighters responded to a large debris pile fire that extended into several smaller brush fires in the area of Cross Street in center Carver. Breakers 23, 27, 29 were utilized to extinguish the fire with Tanker 1 and Engine 2 used in a water supply operation. Crews spent about 2 hours overhauling the large pile, extinguishing buried hot spots. (Photo’s by Deputy Eric Germaine)
