Firefighters from Station 1, 2 and 3 under the Command of Captain Matt Sears made quick work of a reported structure Fire in the McFarlin Road area on Saturday evening. A very aggressive interior fire attack kept the fire to a single bedroom, with little damage to the rest of the residence. Crews were on scene within 5 minutes utilizing Engine 1, Engine 2, Tanker 1 and Rescue 1, while Engine 3 and 4 and Breakers 27, 28, and 29 were staged for manpower and to cover the town.
