Car Fire – Wareham Street - July 23, 2014

While at a water rescue drill on Sampson Pond, Company 3 got toned out for a reported car fire in the Wareham Street area of south Carver.  Car 3, Engine 3 and Breaker 28 handled the call.  Once on scene, it was determined that a small child had inserted a penny into the cigarette litter receptacle, which in turn shorted out the electrical system.  Although there was no visible fire, the cars electrical system was completely shot.  (Photo’s by Chief Craig Weston)
