Recruit Training – Ventilation / Fire Control - February 28, 2013

Our Recruit Training Team spent the week teaching our newest firefighters Fire Hoses and Streams, Fire Control and Ventilation techniques.  Firefighters got a chance to practice cutting ventilation holes in our roof prop, extinguishing repeated dumpster fires and practice hydraulic ventilation in our search and rescue building.   Instructors also taught proper hose rolls, how to properly pack and unload our water supply and attack lines and correct fire stream patterns.  Overall, our new firefighters are doing great!  Their real test will be the mid term practical, which is only a week away!  Keep up the great job!
