Our new Polaris Ranger 4X4 has arrived and is in service at Station 1.  Forest 23, plus all equipment and accessories, have been acquired at no cost to the Town through A.R.P.A. (American Rescue Plan Act).  The vehicle was purchased from POLARIS (Government & Defense Sector).   We had the unit equipped with heavy duty tires, raised suspension, full cab, Polaris GPS system, GPS Insight vehicle tracking system, front hood rack, heavy duty front and rear brush guards, Sthil chain saw, front mounted 4500lb remote controlled winch, Motorola APX radio and DOT directional signals, LED scene/Emergency lighting package, folding stokes basket, and a Kimtec Deluxe Wildfire skid unit holding 70 gallons of foam and water.
