Annual Apparatus Competition – Company 3/Engine 3 was the winner! - August 5, 2015

Amazing to see the Pride our Firefighters take in their apparatus!  This year, our annual apparatus competition focused on our three Front Line Engines that are 19, 20 and 21 years of age.  The winner of this year’s competition was Engine 3, detailed by Company 3.   Crews working on Engine 1 and 2 weren’t that far behind.  Scratches on the exterior paint were touched up, interior compartments and the cabs were reorganized and cleaned, and the Maxim Red exteriors were buffed, waxed and polished.  Too bad their can only be one winner, because they all looked fantastic.  Our judges were Retired Chief Billy Harriman, Retired Deputy Mark Weston, Retired Firefighter Gary Weston, Fire Station Committee member George Callihan, along with Chief Craig Weston, Deputy Eric Germaine.
