Company’s 1 and 2 utilizing Brush Breakers 27, 29 and Car 1 responded to a Brush Fire in the bog area off of Pond Street in Center Carver.  On arrival, C1 assumed Command, reporting a 1+ acre brush fire in a very remote area.  Brush Breaker 26 and Tanker 1 were dispatched to assist with manpower and water supply.  Due to the large area and late season drought we are experiencing the fire burnt deep into the ground with company’s remaining on scene for 3 hours wetting down the area.  (Photos by Firefighter Steve Falconer, and 111 Retired, Gary Weston)
