Big props to the Carver Police Department for organizing a very successful “National Night Out” for all of Carvers Public Safety to interact with residents of our town.  Our Fire Department, along with Carver EMS, Sheriffs Department, Environmental Police and others were invited to participate in the event, geared to promoting public safety.  It was hard to get a handle on the number of people that attended, but I think it would be fair to say well over 1,000.  The night was a huge success from a Fire Prevention standpoint, as numerous children toured our Safe House, fire apparatus and target hose area.  A big thank you to all our Firefighters for helping throughout the night and Deputy Germaine for organizing the event on the Fire Side!  Another great job by Carvers Public Safety TEAM!
