Chief Officer Management Graduation – Massachusetts Fire Academy - January 31, 2019

A proud moment for our Department, and Assistant Deputy Boyle, as Jesse graduated from the Chief Officer Management course on Thursday. The course is the highest level management course offered by the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. This 14-week program was developed in accordance with National Fire Protection Association standards for senior fire officers and is delivered jointly by the Edward J. Collins Jr. Center for Public Management at the University of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. There is a large waiting list to enter the course and we are very proud to now have all three CFD Chief Officers certified at Chief Officer level. Jesse was also the class President and delivered a sensational speech to his class and all that attended the graduation. Great accomplishment and great job! (Photo’s by Mrs. Boyle)
