Firefighters from Company 1 practiced Water Supply evolutions and Rapid Intervention techniques at a recent training exercise.  Firefighters were instructed on how to safely rescue/remove a downed firefighter from a roof area utilizing a stokes basket, a ladder, ropes, and good teamwork.  While this technique R.I.T. was being practiced, other groups of firefighters practiced drafting water out of portable pools and operating numerous master stream appliances.  Rapid Intervention is the training topic of the month for each fire company.
