Officers and Firefighters from Company 2 learn how to use the newly deployed Res-Q-Jacks system at the recent Deputy’s Drill. The new Rescue Equipment was purchased through donations and a series of two successful Association raffles. The Res-Q-Jack system will help give firefighters the needed equipment to safely stabilize and even raise a motor vehicle that has been in an auto accident, thus speeding up the removal of any passengers inside. The equipment is stored on Rescue 1, were it can be quickly deployed to any part of town if needed. (Photo’s by Deputy Eric Germaine
