We have a lot of people step up around here at CFD, but I got to tell you our Fire Prevention Team is just top notch.  This group of Firefighters consistently takes time out of their workday to come down to the station and teach, teach, teach fire safety to so many children within our community.  On this day, we were inundated with the entire 3rd grade class spread out over three different programs throughout the morning.  The children each got a chance to squirt a fire hose, tour the apparatus, sit through a top notch fire prevention class and at the end, each got a chance to give our fire dog “BELLA” a back rub!  Deputy Germaine topped off the morning program with an old fashion cookout of hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill in appreciation for all those that helped out.  Fantastic Job TEAM!
