Carver Firefighters responded to a second alarm fire in Kingston today. C3 and Engine 1 with a crew of 6 were assigned as the Rapid Intervention Team, which is specifically for the purpose of rescuing firefighters if something goes wrong inside the fire building. Despite having multiple frozen hydrants, Kingston Fire quickly brought the fire under control. Although nobody was home at the time, it saddens us to report that multiple pets passed away in the fire. (Photo’s by Future CFD Firefighter, Matt Heath)
