Mutual Aid Structure Fire – Middleboro - October 22, 2012

At about 3:00 am on Monday morning, Engine 3 and Car 3 were dispatched to a working Structure Fire in the Town of Middleboro.  On arrival orders were given for Carver Engine 3 and crew to lay a 4” supply line from the fire building to a fire hydrant located about 900 feet way.  While pump operator, Firefighter Mike Nye, utilized Engine 3 to pump over 15,000 gallons of water, other CFD Firefighters worked at the Fire Incident.  Carver crews worked from high above in the Middleboro Tower, while some went room to room extinguishing fires as they were discovered. Overall Carver Firefighters remained on scene for about 4 hours, returning early this morning.  The Middleboro Fire Department did a great job handling the blaze! (Photo’s by Deputy Eric Germaine)
