Mutual Aid Structure Fire – Plympton - December 13, 2013

Fire Departments from Halifax, Middleboro, Carver and State Rehab assisted the Plympton Fire Department on a well involved Structure Fire off of Center Street in Plympton.  In the freezing temperatures and blowing snow, firefighters worked for over 5 hours trying to chase hidden fire throughout the structure.  Over 50,000 gallons of water was shuttled to the scene by a Middleboro and Plymptons Tanker being filled at a draft site by Carver Engine 2, to keep up with the numerous hand lines deployed around the building.  (Photos by Rob Reardon, All Companies Working and Fire Chief Craig Weston)
