Carver Firefighters responded to a motor vehicle crash on Tremont St this evening. Initial reports stated that a vehicle had exited the road and was in the water, and as a result the CFD Dive Team was dispatched along with all 3 fire companies.
Fortunately, the 2 occupants were able to exit the vehicle. Carver EMS transported one patient to an area trauma center for care. The vehicle was in a precarious position, as seen in the photos. Over a guard rail, nose down in 3’ of swamp with the passenger compartment several feet off the ground. Engine 3 remained on scene for the tow company’s removal operation.
