Fire Company’s 1, 2 and 3, along with a Mutual Aid Tanker from Plympton Fire, responded to a reported bog house fire in the High Street and Snappit Street area of North Carver. First on scene, Lieutenant Bill Froehlich, reported heavy fire to a possible shed, large pile of debris, trailers, brush and possibly exploding propane cylinders. Crews from Engine 1 and 2 quickly worked the fire, protecting an immediate house exposure. Engine 3 established a water supply from a water hole on the property feeding a 4″ supply line to Engine 2. Remaining Engine and Breaker Companies staged with the Plympton Tanker for manpower and preparing to cover any addition fire calls. Plymouth Fire Engine 2, responded to our Station 1 for coverage. The fire was contained to the area of origin and there were no injuries to any Firefighters. Good job by all! (Photos by Firefighter Steve Falconer)
