Amazing what great Trainers, a new Training Facility and an exceptional Recruit Training class can accomplish! Class #10 was Ventilation and Fire Control. Our new Recruits were split into three groups by the instructors and helpers. While one team concentrated on hose streams and hydraulic ventilation, another group concentrated on Mechanical Ventilation using the positive pressure fans. The final group practiced roof ventilation using one of the roof cut props. Once finished, the crews would rotate to the next station. What a tremendous value to being able to have our new Firefighters practice real life scenarios under one roof in our own backyard. (Photo’s by Firefighter Steve Falconer)
