Our newest Recruit Firefighters get their first opportunity to try on their full PPE gear and work with Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA’s) during Thursday nights class.  Fire instructors Lieutenants Chris Vincent, Bill Froehlich and Jesse Boyle teach weekly SCOTT checks along with some basic techniques of donning and doffing their SCBA’s.  At their next class, they will get a crack at our new maze prop and practice search and rescue techniques in our smoke house.
