Structure Fire – Doreen Way - December 20, 2006

All 3 Company’s responded to the early evening call for a structure fire on Doreen Way. First arriving units found fire showing from a lower level window of a split level dwelling. A aggressive attack confined the fire damage to one room, but the remainder of the home suffered extensive smoke damage. For those of you who appreciate numbers, 48 Officers and Firefighters responded to the call, a total of 600 gallons of water was used (about 200 for knockdown and the rest for power venting and overhaul), 15 SCBA bottles were filled at the scene by Rescue 1, Carver Engine 4 covered Station 1, and the most important number of all – 0 injury’s.
