Fire Company’s 1, 2, and 3 responded to a reported Structure Fire on Fosdick Road in our Center District. Fire crews quickly deployed a line to the basement, along with a fire extinguisher, knocking down the fire coming from the main electrical panel. Crews ventilated the smoke from the home and secured power. Engine 3’s crew staged at a nearby water supply further down the street near a cranberry bog in case additional water needed to be shuttled into the scene via tankers. Unfortunately, power was cut to the home and the residents will be displaced for a few days until repairs can be made. (Photo’s by Firefighter Steve Falconer, and Retired Firefighter Rick Leopardi)
