Fire Company’s 1, 2 and 3 responded to smoke in the building off of High Street. Fire was in a multilevel residential home with smoke coming from the eaves on arrival. Thankfully all the occupants were able to safely exit the home and the home can be repaired. First in crews off of Engine 2 did a great job finding the seat of the fire located in the ceiling rafters and containing it. Multiple Engine company’s were needed due to the complex layout of the house and multiple void spaces. Carver Engines 1 and 4 and Rescue 1 all assisted with manpower at the scene for ventilation, back up hose lines and overhaul. Due to the high heat, our Rescue 2 was brought in for rehab supplies. Carver Engine 3 set up at water supply (W2-2), utilizing Carver Tanker 1 and a Plymton Tanker to shuttle water into the Incident. (Photo’s by Retired Firefighter Rick Leopardi)
