Horse Rescue – Center Street (Photo’s by Firefighter Steve Falconer) - October 19, 2013

Carver Firefighters worked with the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team to rescue a horse that was stuck in a cranberry bog ditch off of Center Street in North Carver. The response bought about 20 Carver Firefighters, Carver Engine 2, Rescue 1 and our new Polaris Ranger (Forestry 25) along with about 20 members of the Technical Rescue Team from all over Plymouth County. With a coordinated effort, the horse was eventually freed and safely reunited back with a happy owner. (Photo’s by Firefighter Steve Falconer)
