Our annual “Experienced Firefighters Night”, is a great time to honor our 25+ year veterans of CFD.  Our retired members as well as specially invited guests joined active firefighters for an appreciation dinner, while special awards are presented. The highlight of the evening was service awards given out to both active and retired CFD Firefighters.  Active Firefighter Steven Weston received his 35-year Fire Service Pin and recently retired Firefighter, Mark Whittemore received his 30-year Fire Service Pin.  Retired Fire Captain Carl Santos was presented with a 50-year Association Member Award along with Retired Firefighter John Santarpia receiving a 70-year Association Member award.  Company 2 served a great homemade meal of grilled chicken, sausage, and all the fixin’s.
