A Taste of Carver night turned out to be just that.  The event co-sponsored by the United Parish Church and the Carver Fire Department hoped to draw about 150 people and raise approximately $5,000.00 to assist in the care of 5 year old Emerson Strojny, who is seriously ill. In the end, thanks to the 19 local food vendors who donated and served their specialties, over 100 donated auction items and the generosity of over 700 people who attended; over $27,000.00 was raised. This money will go directly to the care and needs of Emerson. That is truly a Taste of Carver and what our Town is about! (Photo’s by Firefighter Steve Falconer)
