MVA with Entrapment – South Main Street - November 25, 2014

Numerous Firefighters responded with Car 1, Car 3, Rescue 1 and Engine’s 1 and 3, to a serious MVA head on collision, involving a large trash type truck and a smaller car. One person was severely trapped in the smaller vehicle, with Firefighters using the Jaws of Life and other rescue tools to free the occupant. The trapped occupant was treated by Carver EMS and transported to a local hospital, but did not survive her injuries. All facets of Carver’s Public Safety Departments worked together to provide the best care possible under a very stressful environment.  (Photo’s by 312 Retired, Gerry Farquharson)
