Fire Company’s 1, 2 and 3 responded to a reported Structure Fire in our District 1, Crystal Lake area.  On arrival, Fire Captain 101 reported smoke coming from the eves of the home, with a possible electrical fire on the exterior.  Fire Company’s secured the power to the home and extinguished the fire on the exterior, while checking the interior and attic for further extension.  Crews from Engine 4 and Squad 1 set up a water supply on Crystal Lake, if additional tankers were needed.  The fire was extinguished very quickly, but the homeowners will be displaced for a couple of days, until electrical issues can be remedied and the power can be turned back on.
